ICT AND INFORMATION :)

Information technology is the technology needed to acquire, store, process and distribute information by electronic means: radio, television, telephone, and computers. Data is information that has been translated into a form that is more convenient to move or process. Information is stimuli that have meaning in some context for its receiver. A computer is a device that accepts information and manipulates it for some result based on a program or sequence of instructions on how the data is to be processed. Storage is the place where data is held in an electromagnetic or optical form for access by a computer processor. Processing is Movement of data or material towards a known goal or end result, by passing it through a series of stages or a sequence of actions. Evolution is slow process of change from one form or level to a better or higher one, or that brings into being a superior or new order.  ICT is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, cellular phones, and computer.
